As ministry continues in Brazil, Pastor Roger asks for prayer that God would grow the believers in his church, especially that married couples would mature and reach other couples with the gospel. He praises God for their Easter Sunday service in which they baptized several believers. Lastly, he asks that we pray for Crystal as she travels in the coming days and that he would have wisdom as he attends an executive meeting with his missions board, Brazil Gospel Fellowship Mission (BGFM).
How to pray
Pray that God would give maturity to the believers in the church, especially the couples.
Pray that the church would be active in evangelism.
Pray that God would bless the new church plant in Gloria, especially Pastor Marcos who is leading the church.
Pray that God would allow Crystal to have an effective ministry with the kids and women in the church.
Pray that God would save Erasmo.
Pray that God would give wisdom to those who went to Portugal and are considering church planting there, especially Pastor Gerson and Debra.
Pray that Pastor Roger would have strength and patience to continue enduring his Parkinson’s symptoms.
Pray for the leadership in Aracaju:
Pastor Roger Johansen.
Pastor Eriomar Maia.

We praise God that Premend Choy is continuing to recover after his heart attacks. After communicating that we have been praying for him, we received the following message from Premend expressing gratitude to our body:
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all members of Redemption Hill for their prayerful support extended to me and my family. The Lord has indeed heard your intercessions and has placed me on a path towards steady recovery, although I acknowledge that it may be a long journey ahead.
It warms my heart to know we are loved and constantly prayed for! I am so thankful for the body of Christ.
Grace and peace,
Premend Choy
Premend also shared a video update to the many people around the world who are praying for him at this time:
Please continue to pray for his recovery and specifically pray for him and his family as they plan for an extended stay in the United States. This was not the original plan, but due to his health and logistical circumstances, it may be most prudent for the Choys to stay in the US for much longer than they intended, bringing many unique challenges, especially regarding finances.
HOW to pray
Pray that God would fully heal Premend after his cardiac arrest.
Pray that God would give the Choys wisdom as they plan for an extended stay in the US.
Pray that God would provide for the financial needs of the Bible College.
Pray that God would sustain the leaders who minister in Fiji and the surrounding region:
Dr. Narayan Nair and family
President Premend Choy and family
Michael Seehusen and family

In the past month Pastor Brian engaged in ministry in several different churches, ministering alongside many fellow believers leading in various capacities. Four deacons were confirmed to serve in two different churches, Luis and Paul in the church in Mochicahui, and Juan and Ulises in the church in Los Mochis. Pray that God would use these deacons as faithful ministers in these churches.
Over Easter weekend, the Warnes were able to serve with several of the men who have been trained through Pastor Brian’s ministry - Pastor Joel in Compostela and Pastor Javier in Tepic, two cities in the state directly south of Sinaloa where the Warnes live. Pray for God to work through these churches. Pastor Brian also asks that we continue to pray for Violeta, a young wife and mother in the Los Mochis church, who is recovering from surgery while fighting cancer that was not responding to chemotherapy.
Lastly, Pastor Brian asks that we pray for him and Danyel as they minister to church planting pastors in Guadalajara and Colima, Mexico from May 1-6. Pastor Brian will be spending time discipling and teaching leaders as well as preaching in one of their churches on Sunday, May 4.
